When you look at the roof tarp you see a seam running from every corner towards the smoke hole. The imaginary extension of this seam shows you where the stakes and the 550 cord will have to placed later.

Ein Komplettdach kannst du am Stück auslegen. Halbdächer oder einzelne Kohtenblätter verbindest du zuerst wie bei einer [[Kohte]] mit Schlaufen und Ösen. Lege das fertige Dach mit der Außenseite nach oben auf dem Boden aus. Je akkurater du dabei bist, umso besser steht deine Jurte später. Es entsteht ein gleichmäßiges Zwölfeck, die Grundform einer Jurte. Bei der Großjurte sind es entsprechend 16 Ecken.
